Improvement Power Parameter of Small Induction Motors
Halfar, Tomáš ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The master’s thesis Improvement power parameter of small induction motors deals with issues of lowering the losses of small induction motors. The first part introduces with design and principles of operation of induction motors. Also introduces to theoretical problematic of losses, their lowering and measuring. In the practical part there are results of the measuring the losses in the induction motor ATAS Elektromotory Náchod a.s. T22VT512 (71-0512). There are proposed methods of increasing the efficiency of induction motor due to measuring and their verification in the Maxwell software. The last part is dedicated to measuring the losses of prototype motor from ATAS and comparison of results with previous motor.
Optimization of a small induction machine’s slots
Šišák, David ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with optimization of the shape of the stator and rotor slots of induction motor with focusing on increasing efficiency. The theoretical part introduces the principles of optimization algorithms. Another part is devoted to design the shape of slots and its influence on the shape of slots on machine. On the models of motor was conducted the optimized shape of slots by using a genetic algorithm. Firstly, it was performed by using the analytical calculation in the RMxprt program, then by using the finite element method on two different models, whose difference simulates the influence of the production technology on the efficiency of the motor. Laboratory measurement was made on a real machine as well. The results of the measurement, calculations and optimizations are compared in the work.
Accurate wattmeter for measure power loss in feromagnetic controlled AVR
Smutný, Martin ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Electronic wattmeters excel in very small (up to negligible) own consumption. The basiccomponents of these devices is the multiplier - a circuit whose output voltage is proportional to the product of input voltage. Wattmeter is a device that contains two coils, one of which is the current coil voltage and the second coil. Current coil is connected in series with the measured electrical circuit and the voltage measuredparallel to the coil circuit. Current flowing through the coil current causes a magnetic field is proportional to the current flowing through the phase shift and. Electromagnetic fields of both coils influence each other in case of measurements in a DC circuit, the resultingdeflection proportional to both voltage and current. When measured in AC electrical powercircuits can be determined using the effective values of current and voltage, and their mutualphase shift. A magnetic induction B can be determined using mean values. An analog multiplier are circuits, that are realized multiplication of two analog signals. They can be made by suitable connection (according to function) discreet parts. Nowadays there are integrated circuits in advance function, whose internal structure is made by complex of circuits with operating ampfliers and other circuits. These circuits have a very high accuracy of arithmetic operation which is mostly better than 1%. The analog multiplier are used in situation, when we need realize multiplication, division, exponentation, square root extraction and logarithmic calculation of analog signals.
Accurate wattmeter for measure power loss in ferrite core
Zdražil, Lukáš ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Losses in ferromagnetic materials can be measured by a wattmeter. They can be divided into eddy current losses and hysteresis losses. Loss measurements are performed on closed samples. Wattmeters should be accurate and sensitive. There are electrodynamic wattmeters used which reach the maximum deflection at a power factor less than one. Another possible way how to measure losses is by the usage of special electronic circuits. The main part of these circuits is called an analog multiplier. The analog multiplier performs a product of two input signals, especially voltage or current. For these purposes a lot of integrated circuits have been developed. The biggest producers are companies such as Analog Devices and Texas Instruments.
Three-phase induction machine fed by frequency inverter
Fiala, Zbyněk ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis analyses losses in the three phase induction motor with a focus on iron losses. In the first instance the three phase induction motor and the losses in it are described. The analytical calculation and the simulations in the RMXprt software are performed. The measurements were made with a different frequency (40, 50, 60Hz) and behaviour of supply voltage on a motor TM90-2S by EMP Slavkov. In conclusion the results of calculation, simulation and measurements are compared.
Losses analysis of small induction motors
Šišák, David ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of losses of small induction motors. The first part of the project introduces the principle of operation and construction of induction motors. Furthermore, there is dealt with issuing each losses, their origin and disposition in induction motor. The project continues performing the analytical computation of the losses of induction motor with an output of 600 W. The losses of the motor are also calculated in the program Maxvell RMxprt. In the practical part, there are the results of the laboratory measurement on that motor and measurements concerning two another small induction motors different in nominal power. In the last part, there are compared the results of individual motor losses, obtained by computations and measuring. There are also compared the measuring results of losses of chosen motors depending on the nominal output.
